Keeping Our Language Alive

Indigenous youth Colorado Joseph, Erin Joseph, and Mark Tommy, created this film, Keeping Our Language Alive. This film was made as part of the First Directions program, which brings together Indigenous youth to connect with our culture, deepen our response to HIV and Hep C stigma, and produce films that give voice to our experience and ideas about decolonization.

Language translations provided by Violet Gellensbeck at Witsuwit'en Language and Culture Society.

First Directions is made possible in partnership with Reel Youth, and with financial support from the First Nations Health Authority.
